This elegant lady has been waiting patiently for some months now for me to put on the finishing touches. Her hand has shown up in a few shots but she longed to be presented in a more complete fashion. She began as an uninspiring white resin form but, of course, that could never do. She is decoupaged in antique book pages which are further distressed and then stenciled. She's a glamorous gal draped in layers of faux pearl and dons a vintage brown velvet hat. She now happily joins the motley troupe of other decoupaged mannequins who reside in my basement/studio.

I can hear them all calling, "HELP! We're locked away in the basement! Let us OUT!" Honestly, Pearl is lovely! And is Pearl's hand the one that you've photographed with the feather in prior pics? Thanks for sharing the latest work of art....
ReplyDeleteYeah, my basement would seem a strange place to someone who does not know me! Pearl's hand is the one photographed with the feather, the one you made such a lovely card from. Thank-you!
